Editing - Music

When im editing photos i listen to trance music. I believe it put you in the right mind set to continually keep editing without distractions.

I cant edit to music with to many lyrics to distort your thinking.

If its to quite my thoughts go into space and i over think.

Glossary of terms

This is a short list of some terms/Slang extreme sports athletes use in everyday life. These terms will range from all extreme sports to some being specify to an individual sport.
This list could be an endless list of terms so i have added only the best/important ones that i believe are unique to each sport.

Laced - Landed a trick with perfection
Sketchy - Landed a trick sloppy
Axed, Kained,Drilled -Hurt themselves while falling on a trick.
Session - going for a skate etc.
Hammer - A crazy hard trick
Bail - Missed a trick or fell on a trick
Kased - Hit the copin on the way down from a air on a ramp
Tranny - Transition on any ramp
Chink - Taping the end of a rail
Street - Skating rails,ledges in the streets
Rough - usually hungover
Fruitboots - Rollerblades
Wood Pushers - Skateboarders
Fakie - Rolling Backwards
Switch - Doing a trick on your opposite side (left handed)
Full / Half Cab - The Spin out of a fakie
Tech - A trick that is very technical and hard
Mongo - Skateboarding term for pushing with your front foot rather than your back foot
Kong - Parkour trick named after Donkey kong because it looks like a monkey swing
Fishbrain - Rollerblading trick grinding topside on one foot on the soul.
Kink - A rail with multiple turns and connections
Cranking - A BMX/Mountain Bike term for peddling
Goon - Cheap Wine
Cess Slide - Sliding across the ground
Jersey - A road barrier
Busted - Kicked out of a skating spot
A bust - Term used for a spot that you defiantly get kicked out of
Sack Tap - Skateboarding term for when the board hits you in the genitals
Credit Card - Skateboarding term for then the board hits in you in-between your but cheeks
Drainer/Poser - Someone who who often comes out skating but doesnt skate.
Hollow - Surfing term for a heavy wave
Over the falls - Surfing term for when you get pulled over the top of the wave
Sucked and spat - Surfing term for getting pulled under the wave then over the top and back down again
Rebate - Tring a trick again straight away
Illusion - Looking one way then spining the other way
Kicker - Launch Ramp
Hip - Two conneted ramps made for gapping
Fly Box - A launch box with a kicker and bank

Macel is now one of my all time favourite photographers, He also has my dream job of photographing all types of extreme sports.

he uses high end flash kits for almost everyshoot with a variety of different heads.

When i look at extreme sports photographers i seem to most of the time find that they have a few amazing shots and alot of very average work. Macel has amazing work throught his portfolio, in everysport every location his work is amazing.

Jermey Stephenson - JERO

Jero is one of the most well known rollerblading photographers in the world. His work is great but im not sure about amazing. He is another photographer that is famous because of the people that he photographs.

Jero has been one of the top rollerblading photographers for over 10 years, i remember growing up and worshiping a number a jeros photographs out the magazine Daily Bread.
